The old Low-Budget Repairs Playtest is historical. The full game is live and the separate Steam demo is the current free entry point.
The short version
The earlier Steam Playtest is no longer the current access route. Buy the released game under App ID 3167920 or use the free Demo under App ID 3642880.

What changed
The Playtest was a developer-controlled testing program. The Demo is a separate public sample, while the full game launched on August 13.
Do not request random keys
The legitimate options are the official Steam purchase and Demo buttons. Sites selling keys or repackaging old test builds are not official access channels.
