Check sourceHow to read older reports
The community entries below describe August 2026 reports and retain their original checked dates. Update 5 later addressed shader-related startup trouble; Update 6 fixed specific save and mission states. A dated report does not establish that the same symptom persists on the current build.
Safe first checks
- Let Steam finish downloading the current build
- Restart Steam after a launch-day update
- Use Steam's Verify integrity of game files option
- Record the job name, game version and exact symptom before reporting
- Keep backups before experimenting with save files
What to include in a useful report
- The installed game version
- The exact job and objective name
- What happened immediately before the blocker
- Whether the issue repeats after a restart
- A screenshot or short video when it helps reproduce the state
Status policy
Fixed means named in an official changelog. Investigating means the developer has acknowledged ongoing work or the report is widespread but unresolved. Community-reported means players describe it without an official confirmation.
Not every blocked action is a bug
A finished-looking apartment may still need the wall-phone hand-in, and the Save button can be deliberately unavailable during a short scripted sequence. Use the linked job-completion and save guides before treating either state as data loss.
