Low-Budget Repairs Update 6
The September 21 Update 6 fixes named save and mission blockers, changes side-job selection and adds Arabic and Georgian.
The short version
Update 6 arrived on September 21, 2026. It focuses on save and load reliability: disappearing purchases, emptied car trunks, reset objects or electrical work, uncounted objectives and mission blockers. It also changes side-job selection and adds Arabic and Georgian. The announcement does not supply a numerical version or guarantee repair of already damaged saves.

Save and load fixes
- Items bought or placed could disappear; the car trunk could empty; installed objects could revert.
- Cables, fuses and completed objectives could reset or become blocked; installed-window parts could disappear.
- Saving during assembly or repair, dialogue, breakable-object states and certain mission moments could break later progress.
Named mission and progression fixes
- The announcement names One More Time, Window to the World, A Small Favor, Dirty Business, Sentenced to Work, Righty-Tighty, Materials, Nephew’s Work and Reward among affected missions.
- It specifically fixes prison-travel infinite loading, a lockpick save blocker after meeting Zbyszek, a blocker in Reward and a missing fuse stage in One More Time.
- Side-job selection changed, and the random ‘New side jobs are available’ message was fixed.
Interactions and presentation
- Fuse handling and masking tape were improved; certain tape-measure or leveler interactions no longer block later work.
- Fixes include disappearing paneling or inventory items near walls, a stuck carpet ghost, the Michael shelf and tiles placed without adhesive.
- Garage objects, house occlusion, church mirror, tool audio, tile or painting icons and pawn-shop values also received fixes.
Two new game languages announced
The developer announced Arabic and Georgian support, plus translation fixes. The Steam store's language list checked on September 30 did not yet show either language, so in-game availability was not independently verified. This site continues to publish in English, Polish, German and Russian.
When a previously affected save still fails
- Install Update 6 and keep an untouched copy of the last working save.
- Identify the exact mission, object and objective state; test once from an earlier save when available.
- Treat any continuing failure as a new, version-specific report rather than assuming the official fix never shipped.
